본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 부정적인 환경인 생활사건 스트레스와 긍 정적인 환경인 사회적 지지의 효과를 비교하고,이들 간의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 밝히며,생활 사건 스트레스,사회적 지지,우울과 자살생각 간의 구조적 관계를 구명하는데 있다.본 연구의 대상 은 서울특별시,인천광역시,경기도,강원도에 위치한 12개 고등학교의 2학년 학생 959명으로서 생활 사건 스트레스 검사,사회적 지지 검사,우울 검사와 자살생각 검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 LISREL 8.54를 이용한 공분산구조분석을 실시하였다.본 연구결과는 다음과 같 다.첫째,고등학생의 생활사건 스트레스(학교생활,가정생활,대인관계,자아영역)는 자살생각에 유의 한 직접적인 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났으나 사회적 지지(부모지지,친구지지,교사지지)는 자살생각 에 유의한 직접적인 부적 영향(-.12)을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.둘째,생활사건 스트레스와 사회적 지 지는 모두 우울에 직접적인 영향을 주었으며 우울에 대한 생활사건 스트레스 요인의 표준화 경로계수 는 .45,사회적 지지 요인은 -.41로 모두 통계적으로 유의하였다.고등학생의 생활사건 스트레스와 사 회적 지지의 우울에 대한 설명변량은 47%로 나타났다.셋째,고등학생의 우울은 자살생각에 직접적인 정적 영향을 주었으며 자살생각에 대한 우울의 표준화 경로계수는 .70이었다.넷째,생활사건 스트레 스는 우울을 매개로 자살생각에 정적인 영향(.31)을 주었고,사회적 지지는 우울을 매개로 자살생각에 부적인 영향(-.28)을 주었다.자살생각 전체변량에 대한 생활사건 스트레스,사회적 지지,그리고 우울 의 총 설명변량은 58%였다.
The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of negative environment, life event stress and positive environment, social support on suicidal ideation of high school students, and communicatethemediationeffectsofdepressionintherelationshipamongthem,andinquireintothe structuralrelationshipamonglifeeventstress,socialsupportanddepression,andsuicidalideation.A surveyoflifeeventstress,socialsupport,depressionandsuicidalideationwasmadeon959second yearstudentsof12highschoolslocatedintheSeoulMetropolis,InchonMetropolitanCity,Gyeonggi ProvinceandGangwonProvincetocollectdata.ThecovariancestructureanalysisusingLISREL 8.54 was made to analyze data. The results of this study were as follows: First, the suicidal ideation(schoollife,home life,socialrelationship,ego-sphere)ofhigh schoolstudents had nota significant direct effect on the suicidalideation,but the socialsupport(parents support,friends support,teachers support)had a directly significantnegative effect(-.12)on the suicidalideation. Second,both life eventstress and socialsupporthad a directeffecton the depression.And the standardized path coefficientof lifeeventstressandsocialsupportfactorson depression was.45 and-.41,whichallofthem werestatisticallysignificant.Theexplainedvarianceoflifeeventstress and socialsupporton depression was 47%.Third,the depression ofhigh schoolstudents had a directpositiveeffecton thesuicidalideation,andthestandardizedpath coefficientofdepression on suicidalideation was .70.Fourth,the life eventstress had a positive effect(.31)on the suicidal ideation by a carrier ofdepression,while the socialsupporthad a negative effect(-.28)on the suicidalideation by a carrier ofdepression.Totalexplained variance oflife eventstress,social supportanddepressiononwholevarianceofsuicidalideationwas58%.
