본 연구는 자기교정을 활용한 철자쓰기중재가 쓰기부진학생의 철자쓰기능력에 미치는 영 향을 알아보고자 하였다. 초등학교 일반학급에서 교육받고 있는 쓰기부진학생 5명을 대상으 로 자기교정을 활용한 철자쓰기학습에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 연구과정은 사전검사, 중재 (형성평가), 사후검사, 유지검사로 구성되었다. 중재 단계에서는 모음, 된소리, 구개음화, ㄷ소 리받침의 유형별로 자기교정을 활용한 철자쓰기 중재가 14회기 동안 적용되었다. 연구 결과 자기교정을 활용한 철자쓰기중재는 쓰기부진학생의 철자쓰기능력 및 유지에 긍정적인 영향 을 나타내었다. 그러나 모음, 된소리, 구개음화, ㄷ소리받침의 유형에 따라 대상학생마다 철 자쓰기 향상 정도의 차이를 보였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 쓰기부진학생의 철자쓰기중재를 위한 향후 연구와 교육현장에서의 시사점들이 제시되었다.
This study examined the effects of spelling intervention based on self-error correction on the spelling skills of students with writing difficulties. Five elementary students with writing difficulties who belong to the general education classroom participated the study. A preliminary test, an intervention (a formative evaluation), a posttest and a follow-up test were applied. In the case of the spelling exercise based on self-error correction, interventions were performed in vowels, fortes, palatalization and the pattern of the final consonants that sound ‘ㄷ’ during 3 sessions respectively, 12 sessions in all. The results showed that the spelling intervention based on self-error correction improved transfer and follow-up in spelling skills overall. However, the degree of improvement varied depending upon the patterns and the participants. The implications for future research and practices were suggested.
