\"해마다 찾아오는 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울은 타 교과의 교실수업이나 체육 교과의 운동장 및 체육관 수업이나 항상 똑같지만 새로운 계절을 맞이하는 교사와 학생들의 느낌은 조금씩 다를 수 있을 것이다. 교실에서 이루어지는 타 교과의 수업은 기능 좋은 냉난방 시설로 계절변화에 따른 기후적 특성에 큰 어려움 없이 진행되지만, 3~4개 반이 수업하기엔 너무나 비좁고, 아무런 냉난방 시설을 갖추고 있지 않은 운동장에서 수업을 만들어가는 체육교사와 학생들에게 계절변화에 따른 기후적 특성은 항상 저해요소로 자리 잡고 있다.\"

영문초록

"The purpose of this study is to investigate physical education classes in four seasons, to describe how physical education classes are conducted in playground and gymnasium as a field of physical education class multi-dimensionally and with in-depth, and to present data needed to improve physical education class. For doing this, the author selected the subjects including four teachers in physical training and five high school students (two males and three females), observed their physical education classes, performed in-depth interviews, and collected related literature. The collected data were conducted of description, analysis, and interpretation by process of transcription, coding, and theme formation, and in order to enhance veracity of the data collection, triangulation, peer debriefing, and member check were undergone. Based on the results of this study, The subjects' perceptions and experiences of physical education classes according to seasonal changes were also examined. In spring, they were represented by the ""chaos,"" to be described as dualism, involving order and disorder, formation of consciousness, desire for lively motions, obstacles, awareness of chaos. In summer, they were represented by ""hardship,"" involving conquest of difficulty, self-awareness, difference between principle and irregularity, awareness of the world. In fall, they were represented by a ""harmony,"" involving experiences of harmony, imbalance of the world, discovery of self-balance. In winter, they were represented by ""movement in stillness,"" involving coming out of the square, reflection and thinking, discovery of communication in silence.
