한국 수영 역사를 새로이 작성한 마린보이 박태환 선수가 이룬 쾌거는 엘리트 수영에 대한 사회적 관심 증대와 스포츠의 새로운 의식 전환을 마련하는 계기가 되었을 뿐만 아니라 엘리트 수영선수 양성의 박차를 더욱 가하고 있다. 수영은 선수들에 의한 기록 향상을 목적으로 그 방법에 따라 크게 경영, 수구, 다이빙, 싱크로나이즈드 스위밍이 있는데, 이 종목들 중 경영은 일정한 거리를 헤엄쳐 가는 속도를 겨루는 기록경기로 그 결과가 정확하게 나타나 자신의 기록에 도전하여 기록을 갱신할 때마다 승리감과 자신의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 종목이다(박소현, 2009).
"The purpose of this study is to identify influence of elite swimming players' team atmosphere on team effectiveness and team devotion and It is progressed with players who are registered in Korean Swimming League. In order to obtain purpose of the study, member of elite swimming player(N=386). The data were recorded and analyzed using SPSS Ver. 17.0 and Amos 6.0 to perform Frequency Analysis, Factor Analysis, Correlation Relative Analysis and Multiple Regress Analyses. According to this study, team satisfaction and absorption has influence on intimacy of the team atmosphere. Secondly, the intimacy of the team atmosphere has influence on both exercise and team devotion. When the goal is emphasized, exercise devotion is raised.
