"The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sexual and body esteem, and acceptance to disability in persons with physical disability, and examine the moderate effect of marital status on those relationship. The data collected from 330 persons with physical impairment was analyzed. The information gathered were analyzed under multiple regression analysis methods utilizing an PASW 18.0 program. The findings indicate that sexual and body esteem is a significant predictor of acceptance to disability. The independent variables appeared to explain more of variance in married persons than in unmarried persons. Marital status differences were found in relationship between sexual esteem and self-satisfaction. The examination of sexual and body esteem, and acceptance to disability in persons with physical disability is a research that hold great promise for scholarship that will enable social workers to more effectively help consumers enjoy a increased quality of life.
