This research is to verify effectiveness of Mnemonics-Based Learning. For this study, method with schema
is applied to our research, student's learning motivation and achievement's variables set up for dependent
variables. Mnemonics-based learning method with schema, which makes use of mnemonics, is the positive
learning activity which encourage learner's memory and transfer of learning effect. According to our
research, the learning motivation of the experiment group which made use of learning method with
schema had much higher level of learning motivation and learning achievement result than the group
which didn't. We also found out that the learning method with schema had the same level of long-term
memory of learning regardless of the learner's level of learning ability. These results suggest that the
learning method with schema is helpful to learning regardless of the learner's learning ability. Thus, we
can expect that the introduction of mnemonics-based learning method with schema into the classroom as
the proper learning and instruction method of curriculum will be helpful to the enhancement of the
learner's learning motivation and learning achievement.
