Ecodance is a movement for harmony between humanity and the universe, and for reverence of life and resuscitating Life. Thus, Ecodance Education is the way of education that realizes the goals of Ecodance. Ecodance Education is the paradigm shift from the value system based on “quantity” to the value system based on “quality” in order to overcome current “eco-crisis.” Ecodance Education, therefore, aims at the improvement of the quality of living through ecological insightfulness and aesthetic experiences. Also, it focuses on making creative elites who have the attitudes towards harmony and sharing. More specifically, Ecodance Education has the following directions, such as ① education for promoting ecological insightfulness ② life-long education ③ integration of various fields and methodologies ④ education integrating theory and practice (not only in artistic areas but also in life in general) ⑤ realization of shifting paradigm through going further than merely superficial knowledge.
