본 연구에서는 초등학교 5～6학년 아동 277명을 대상으로 아버지의 언어통제유형과 아동의 대인문제 해결능력과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 아버지의 언어통제유형은 Bernstein의 이론을 기초로 이경희(1993)가 제작한 도구를 사용하여 측정되었으며, 아동의 대인문제 해결능력은 Spivack의 이론을 기초로 박찬옥(1986)이 제작한 도구로 측정되었다. 수집된 자료는 이원변량분석, 적률 상관분석을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 아버지의 언어통제유형은 아동의 성별과 연령에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 아동의 대인문제 해결능력은 아동의 성별에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 그리고 아버지의 언어통제유형과 아동의 대인문제 해결능력은 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 아버지의 언어통제유형은 아동의 대인문제 해결능력의 긍정적, 부정적 해결방안과도 유의한 상관을 보였다.
This study investigated the relationship between fathers\' verbal control modes and children\'s interpersonal problem solving ability. The subjects of this study were 277 fifth and sixth grade children. The Fathers\' Verbal Control Modes Questionnaire developed by Lee and Children\'s Interpersonal Problem Solving Ability Scale developed by Pack were used in this study. The results of this study were as follows: (1) The significant differences were found in fathers\' verbal control modes according to children\'s gender and age. (2) A significant difference was found between the children\'s gender in terms of children\'s interpersonal problem-solving ability. (3) There were significant correlations between fathers\' verbal control modes and children\'s interpersonal problem solving ability. (4) There were significant correlations between fathers\' verbal control modes and children\'s positive and negative solutions on interpersonal problem solving ability.
