This paper is aimed at searching for the educational means and limits of Pororo, TV animation
for all infants. There are four types of educational values. That is to emphasize living habits, to
underline playing with friends in nature, to provide a right verbal environment and to be able to
express one\'s thoughts by stirring up infant\'s imagination. However, there are limitations. It doesn\'t
provide enough motive of play and reflect any Korean elements. In addition, it not only perpetuates
stereotypes of gender roles, but also incites the depression relatively in cognitive aspects. So this
paper suggests that adults need to select TV animation and watch it together with babies for infants
positive media viewing.
