This study was designed to provide single-parent families with education to resolve bias for a certain period of time and examine changes to their perceptions at the result of the education. In modern society, people are required to accept single-parent families and search for ways to live with them as more and more single-parent families are produced due to divorce, parental death, unmarried mothers or fathers, and separation in the middle of diverse changes to the functions and structural aspects of family. It is desirable to recognize single-parent families as one of the various types of family instead of dismissing them as families with a problem or a wrong form of family, as well as to expand the equal family culture that allows for no discrimination based on the types of family. Essential to the mutual respect and coexistence of various types of family are the efforts to improve the perceptions of single-parent families and provide education to promote the realistic understanding of single-parent families and respect for them. The study will hopefully help the members of single-parent families increase their self-esteem and practical adaptation skills to society and contribute to the abolition of bias against \'single-parent families\'.
