This study purposes on examining learning objectives, learning contents and
evaluation protocol of social work practicum. Results of the study can be
summarized as follows:
First, it is found that direct social work practice tends to be more emphasized
rather than indirect practice in practicum. Secondly, rather than professor group,
supervisor group in particular shows more hesitancy in evaluating students'
performance in light of community interventions and policy related delivery
systems. However, thirdly, in regard to second result mentioned above, supervisors
have different position in accordance with one's years of work. Lastly, in spite of
emphasis on education of direct service, evaluating students' interviewing skills
would not be very appropriate in practicum situation.
