장애인 고용의 양적 확대와 더불어 임금수준과 정규직 여부 같은 고용의 질에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 취업시각장애인의 임금과 정규직 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 알아보 는데 있다. 연구 결과, 취업시각장애인은 일반근로자는 물론 전체 장애근로자와 비교해도 임금수준과 정 규직 비율이 낮다. 둘째. 임금 결정에 영향을 주는 요인은 성별, 학력, 직업자격증 보유 여부, 근속기간, 직업적성 일치 여부이다. 셋째, 정규직 여부에 영향을 주는 요인은 학력과 근속기간이다. 따라서 시각장 애인 고용의 질을 높이기 위해서 학력, 직업자격증 보유, 근속기간, 직업적성 등의 요인이 직업재활과정 에서 보다 중요하게 다루어져야 하고 관련 프로그램의 개발과 지원이 확대되어야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to find factors affecting wage and regular employment. It was utilized the survey data of the first panel survey of 2008 in Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled. The findings of this study were as follows; First, the wage of workers with visual impairment is very much lower than that of non-disability workers. Also the proportion of regular employment is 2 times lower than that of non-disability workers. Second, the factors affecting the wage of workers with visual impairment were sex, educational level, whether or not having job qualification, work duration, whether or not matching job aptitude. Third, the factors affecting the regular of workers with visual impairment were educational level, work duration. So. to improve quality of employment like wage or regular employment must consider these factors in process of vocational rehabilitation.
