This study intended to analyze the kinematic factors during the transition from approach to takeoff on each
record of men's long jump in elementary school. The data for this study was recorded at the 39th National
Junior Sports Festival. We selected 14 subjects and we divided two groups(7 high levels, 7 low levels) for
analysis. The results were as follows; 1) the pattern of center of gravity for high level players changed a lots
in run up and high in take off phase, 2) the body angle and the trunk angle of the high level players in
take off showed lower than these of low level players, 3) vertical velocity of the high level players in take
off showed fast than these of low level players, 4) take-off angle of the high level players in take off showed
higher than these of low level players.
