본 연구는 어린이집 만1세 학급에서 영아들의 자연스러운 상황을 들여다봄으로써 영아들의 정서가 어 떻게 표현되는지 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 만1세 학급의 영아 10명을 참여관찰 과 저널쓰기를 통해 질적 연구로 수행하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 만1세 학급에서 보이는 영아들의 기쁨 에 대한 정서표현으로는 웃기와 미소짓기, 행동반복하기, 교사와 친구들의 관심끌기, 집중하기로 나 타났다. 둘째, 슬픔에 대한 정서표현은 울기, 눈시울 적시며 입 삐죽거리기, 행동이 느려지고 멈추 기, 자리에서 이동하여 주저 앉기로 나타났다. 셋째, 분노에 대한 정서표현은 고함지르며 울기, 공격 적인 행동하기, 버티기와 거부하기, 격한 행동하기로 나타났다. 넷째, 두려움에 대한 정서표현은 주 변을 둘러보며 움직이지 않고 울기, 안정을 취하는 개별행동하기, 급한 목소리로 교사 부르기, 성인 에게 안기기로 나타났다.
This study looked at how infants’ emotions are expressed in such ways as joy, sadness, anger, and fear by evaluating various one-year old infants in their natural daycare center environment. In this study, qualitative research was carried out by participant observations, followed by the writing of journals. The study consisted of ten infants of one year old infants class. First, the study revealed that the emotional expressions of joy of one year old infants class are that of laughing, repeating of behavior, drawing the attention of teachers and friends, and concentrating. Second, the emotional expressions for sadness included crying with a loud voice, making a wry mouth with red eyes and down lips, slowing down and stopping their action, moving their location, and plumping down on the ground. Third, the emotional expressions for anger included crying with yelling, acting with aggressive behavior, and acting to downgrade. Fourth, the emotional expressions of fear were those of crying while looking around but not moving, taking individual action to stability, calling their teachers with urgent voices, and clinging to adults.
