The study investigated 46 evaluation tools of assistive technology needs, used in the U. S. and analyzed overall structure and characteristics of the tools. These tools included general information, person evaluation, and assistive technology device evaluation to select appropriate device for a particular individual with a disability. The evaluation areas were augmentative and alternative communication, teaching-learning assistive devices, computer access, seating and positioning, and others. Then, the individual's disability type, age, and activities and tasks were assessed. Based on theses information, assistive technology device evaluation was processed to select. The study was meaningful in regarding to show basic data of assistive technology evaluation tools used in the U. S.
