우리국민들의 안보의식이 약화된 원인은 여러 가지가 있겠으나 6.25전쟁을 경험한 세대들이 점점사라지면서 그들이 겪은 전쟁과 공산당의 잔악상을 후손들에게 전수시키지 못한 것이 가장 큰 원인일 것이다. 따라서 우리는 국민들에게 6.25전쟁을 기념하는 전적기념물과 같은 풍부한 호국자원을 활용하여 국민들의 안보의식을 고취시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 것이 시급한 실정이다. 한편 6.25전쟁에서 최대 위기를 극복하고 반격의 기틀을 마련한 낙동강방어선 전투지역인 특히 왜관ㆍ다부동, 신녕ㆍ영천, 안강ㆍ포항, 등에 전적기념물들이 산재하고 있는데 우리는 지금까지 이러한 호국의 현장을 교육의 현장으로 활용하지 못하고 오랜 기간 방치하였다. 그래서 세계사적 의의와 군사적 가치를 지니고 있는 낙동강방어선전투의 전적지를 국민안보교육의 자원으로 선정하였다. 그리고 교육의 효과를 극대화하기 위해서 각 전적지들을 체계적으로 정비하고 개발한 후에 중심지여과 중점지역으로 구분하고 중심지역을 근거지로 하여 벨트화 하는 체험학습 프로그램을 만들어 제시하였다.
There are various cause of lack of nation security consciousness in our country these days. The most biggest cause is that we had not educated communism to the postwar generations. While the generation that had experienced war directly disappeared in the past. So thing that we have to do for the first time is that we must educate them about it immediately with a plenty of nation resources like the war memorials. We have the important and various memorial things of war on a line of defence of Nakdong river, especially in Waegoun, Dabudong, est very much. These places that were mentioned above conquered many crises in korea war in 1950, and became bases of counterattack. but we had not used like these war memorials by educational places so far. So I chose a line of defense on Nakdong river that has international meanings and military values by a resource of nation security education. and in order to increase the effect of education, I presented that we need to inspect all of memorial places f war systematically and then classify these places by the center parts and priority make a belt with the center parts. I also suggested that we would give people a chance to experience various programs that we can learn war.
