본 연구에서는 의미네트워크 분석을 활용하여 초등 예비교사들의 산과 염기에 대한 이해를 조사하였다. 초등 예비교사들의 산과 염기에 대한 이해 정도를 파악하기 위해서 1) 초등 예비교사들은 산과 염기를 어떻게 이해하고 있는가?, 2) 산과 염기 단원의 수업 후에 산과 염기의 개념체계가 어떻게 변화했는가? 를 알아보았다. 산·염기 수업 전후 학생들이 응답한 산과 염기의 정의와 산과 염기 관련 연상단어의 응답 유형에 대한 의미네트워크 분석을 통하여 학생들이 어느 관점에서 산·염기 개념을 접근하고 있고, 산·염기 수업 후 개념체계가 어떻게 변화되는지 파악할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 의미네트워크 분석을 활용한 연구방법이 학생들의 개념체계를 파악할 수 있고, 교수학습전략을 수립하는데 있어서 유용한 도구로 활용할 수 있다는것을 보여주었다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of understanding and the conceptual structure of elementary school pre-service teachers on acid-base using semantic network analysis(SNA). In order to understand of the knowledge structure of acid-base of elementary school pre-service teachers, 1) How do elementary school pre-service teachers understand acid-base? 2) How do the conceptual structure of acid-base change after instruction of acid-base unit? The semantic network analysis based on the definition of acid-base and words related to the acid-base in which teachers responded before and after the acid-base instruction was able to effectively give the information of change of acid-base knowledge. This study showed the possibility of utilizing SNA as a useful tool to understand students conceptual structure and establish teaching strategies.
