본 연구의 목적은 일본의 유아 다문화보육,교육에 대한 고찰을 함으로서 일본의 유아 다문화보육, 교육의 연구동향을 알아보고 특성을 탐구하며 유아다문화보육과 교육이 나아갈 방향을 정립하는 것이다. 연구방법은 문헌연구이며 분석대상논문은 학술지 검색도구인 J-STAGE와 CINII 검색도구 등에 수록된 학술지 58편이다. 대상은 유아에 한정하였고 연구시기, 게재학술지 현황, 연구방법, 연구내용에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과, 총 58편의 논문에서 게재 연구논문의 시기는 1991년에서 2019년까지로서 2010년경 전후로 증가되고 있다. 게재학술지 현황은 주로 일본 보육학연구 학회지와 대학연구 논문집에서 지속적으로 발간되고 있다. 연구방법으로는 2010년경을 전후하여 사례, 관찰연구, 설문조사가 많았고 문헌연구도 지속적으로 행해졌다. 연구내용은 초기에는 정체성, 다문화이해, 지역의 다문화, 반편견 교육과정 등이 연구되었으나 2010년경을 전후로 하여 다문화이해, 보육자의 의식․보육관, 현상과 과제, 교사와 유아의 다문화 언어, 외국의 다문화보육 사례연구 등이 행해졌다. 끝으로 일본의 유아다문화보육, 교육의 방향을 논했다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the research trend of multicultural education and education in Japan by conducting systematic literature review on multicultural education and education for young children in Japan, to explore characteristics, and to establish its direction. The research method is literature research, The research papers are from 58 journals selected by J-STAGE and CINII search tools are reviewed. The subjects were limited to children and analyzed according to the period of study, current status of publication journals, research methods, and research contents. The research period was divided into literature research, experiment, practice, case, observation research, interview and questionnaire survey, and the research contents were classified into 12 themes including identity related to multiculturalism. As a result, the number of research papers published by period was published from 1991 to 2019, and it has been steadily increasing since 2010. The current status of journals was continuously published in the Journal of Japanese Childcare Research and the Journal of University Research. The contents of the study included understanding of multiculturalism, Childcare Consciousness multicultural status and tasks, language and foreign cases. Finally, the direction of Japanese multicultural childcare and education was discussed.
