본 연구는 어머니의 스마트폰중독경향성과 어머니의 놀이참여도, 유아의 스마트기기 몰입경향성의 관계를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울·경기도에 소재한 어린이집 및 키즈카페를 방문하여 만2세-만5세 263명의 유아 어머니가 연구에 참여하였다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 스마트기기 몰입경향성은 어머니의 매체이용 빈도, 자녀의 디지털매체 이용 제한방법, 자녀와 디지털 매체 이용 시 어머니와 같이 이용하는지에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 스마트폰 중독경향성이 병적몰입이 높을수록 유아의 스마트기기 몰입경향성 수준이 높아지며, 어머니의 스마트폰 중독경향성과 유아의 스마트기기 몰입경향성의 관계에서 어머니의 놀이참여도가 부분매개 하였다. 본 연구는 어머니의 스마트기기 중독경향성을 낮추는 것이 유아의 스마트기기 몰입경향성을 낮출 수 있다는 대안을 제시하고 변인들 간의 관계를 규명함으로 인해 향후 어머니의 스마트폰 사용교육에 대한 의식 전환 교육에서의 활용을 기대할 수 있다.
This purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among Mother s smartphone addiction, Maternal play Particiation, Children s overindulgence tendency. Participants were 263 mothers with children between 2 and 5. in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province. The major findings were as follows: First, it is statistically significantly different according to how frequently mother uses smart media, how mother restricts children s use of digital media and whether mother and children use digital media together or not. Second, the total score of mother s smartphone addiction tendency and one sub component, morbid immersion positively related to children s overindulgence tendency in smart devices, mother s play participation negatively related to children s overindulgence tendency in smart devices and mother s smartphone addiction tendency negatively related to mother s play participation. And lastly, mother s play participation partially mediated the relationship between mother s smartphone addiction tendency and children s overindulgence tendency in smart devices.
