목적: 본 연구에서는 부산광역시의 고령친화산업지원센터와 기업지원 인프라에 대해서 연구하면서 시니어마켓 시장 선점의 가능성에 대해 파악하고 지역중소기업의 부가가치 상승을 위해 전략적인 육성에 대해서 연구하였다. 연구방법: 부산광역시의 고령친화산업지원센터 대한 전반적인 지역현황, R&D현황, 신뢰성, 지역타당성에 대한 현황을 객관적으로 분석을 실시하였다. 특히 해당 사업에 대해 사업 관리자 및 관계자와의 그룹인터뷰(FGI-Focus Group Interview) 통해 부족한 부분을 수정 보완 했다. 연구결과: 부산광역시는 고령화 사회로의 진입에 따라 시장수요가 급격히 증가하고 있으며 원할한 사회 복귀를 위해 재활복지, 일상생활지원 의료기기 연구개발에 대한 지원을 높이고 있다. 특히 부산 지역산업의 특화성이 타 지역보다 높게 나왔으며, 사회적 문제인 노인 의료비의 경감을 위해 상용성평가, 시험인증, 제품개발에 대한 고품질화를 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 부산광역시는 단순한 고령친화용품 생산에서 벗어나 전략산업인 스마트 헬스케어 제품 생산에 주력하고 있으며, 국내외 경쟁력을 확보하는데 주요한 역할을 할 것으로 판단된다. 결론: 부산광역시는 재활복지 및 일상생활지원 의료기기분야를 기초연구 수준의 연구개발에서 끝나지 않도록 제품의 사용성 평가, 품질 시험, 상품화, 전시 및 체험 등을 원스톱으로 진행함으로써 타 지역보다 경쟁우위를 가질 수 있다. 그리고 다양한 지역 주민, 장애인 및 환자의 참여를 통해 연구의 질적 수준을 높이는 동시에 지역 협력망 구축과 국내외 교류협력 활성화를 통해 중요한 거점 지역이 될 것이다.
Objective: In this research, Busan Metropolitan city’s Elderly-Friendly Industrial Support Centre and corporate support infrastructure to understand the possibility of preoccupying the senior market, and to strategically grow regional small to medium business’ added value increase. Methods: General local status, Research and Development status, trustability, and local feasibility of Elderly-Friendly Industrial Support Centre of Busan Metropolitan City were objectively analysed. Especially conducting Focus Group Interview (FGI) with business managers and related personnels. With these interview results, shortage of systems was edited and amended. Results: Busan Metropolitan City has an increased market demand as they enter an aging society, in order to support a smooth return to society, they are increasing support for day to day living and medical device research and development. The local Busan industry’s characteristics were higher than other areas as they were pursuing high quality standards for usability evaluation, test certification, and product development in order to reduce the medical expenses of the elderly, a social problem. Busan Metropolitan City moved away from manufacturing simple elder friendly products, they are focusing on smart healthcare product production as they are a strategic industry and they would play an important role in securing Domestic-International competitiveness. Conclusion: Busan Metropolitan City has a competitive advantage over other regions as they do not end research of rehabilitation welfare and day to day living medical support devices. They conduct one-stop methods of: development at the basic research level by conducting one-stop evaluation of product usability, product quality testing and commercialization, exhibition and experience. Moreover, with participation of local residents, disabled people, and patients, they were able to increase quality of research, building of local support network, and Domestic-International cooperation revitalization at the same time, Busan Metropolitan City Would be able to become an important base area.
