Korea has implemented a new social policy with market-oriented social service approach. Major projects and methods of operation can be shared with developing countries in East Asia, including China, which is undergoing a similar path to Korea s socio-economic development phase. Accordingly, a new theme of “social service international cooperation” can be added in social service policy. In this article, the topics for exploring the primary conditions for promoting international cooperation in social services are summarized. Subsequently, the recognition of social service companies that would carry out practical activities on the front line was confirmed in the event of promoting international cooperation projects. Finally, based on the content of the survey, I proposed a policy task for international cooperation in social services.
