PUROPSE PUROPSE The purpose of this study is to develop K-University's own competency diagnostic assessment in order to understand the systematic quality management of the university's education and the level of competence development of current students.
CONTENTS To accomplish this Focusing on the core competencies and components set by reflecting the university's talent and educational goals, preliminary questions were developed, validity and reliability were verified, and the questions were confirmed and core competency diagnosis was carried out in the following order. First, 133 preliminary questions were developed based on several previous studies. Through the feasibility study of the preliminary scale, 59 questions were derived as final diagnostic questions. Then, 446 students participated in the random assignment sampling, and the core competency diagnosis was performed with the finalized questions.
RESULTS As a result, leadership competency and self-development competency were the highest at 3.74, respectively. And in the analysis by component of competency, interpersonal competence was the highest, and foreign language ability was the lowest. These studies can be referenced or utilized by universities that are preparing their own competency assessment tools.
