In this study, the ways of responding to national and social requirements were examined in order for the new curriculum to successfully settle in the field through the process of examining the national and social requirements shown in the 2022 revised elementary moral and curriculum proposal. As such, the significance of national and social requirements in the national-level curriculum was investigated. Also, the ways of responding to the national and social requirements of general guidelines in the previous moral curricula were looked into. Looking at the development process of the 2022 revised moral curriculum, the processes of dealing the three national and socialrequirements of digital literacy education, ecological transformation education, and civic education in the moral curriculum proposal were analyzed, and a direction that fits the nature of the subject and the concept pursued was suggested.
