이 연구는 대학생의 진로관여행동의 증진을 위한 진로지도의 시사점을 제공하기 위해, 부모진로지지와 진로관여행동의 관계에서 전공만족도와 진로적응성의 이중매개 효과를 분석하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 검증하기 위해서 경상남도에 소재한 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 240명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석방법은 SPSS Process macro 모델 4와 6을 사용하여 매개모형 검증을 실시하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 첫째, 모델 4 분석을 통해서 부모진로지지와 진로관여행동과의 관계에서 전공만족도와 진로적응성이 각각 통계적으로 유의한 부분매개효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 모델 6 분석을 통해서 부모진로지지와 진로관여행동과의 관계에서 전공만족도와 진로적응성이 통계적으로 유의한 부분적 이중매개효과가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 부트스트래핑 분석을 이용하여 매개효과의 유의성을 살펴본 결과, 전공만족도와 진로적응성이 통계적으로 유의한 매개효과가 나타났고, 전공만족도가 진로적응성 보다도 매개효과가 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과들을 바탕으로 대학생들의 진로관여행동을 강화하기 위해서는 대학생이 지각한 부모진로지지, 전공만족도 및 진로적응성을 기반으로 한 진로지도 방안과 진로교육 프로그램을 개발 및 운영해야 함에 대해 논의하였다.
This study examines the serial mediating effects of major satisfaction and career adaptability in the relationship between parental career support and occupational engagement among 240 college students. This research employs questionnaire data and serial mediation model analyses via SPSS Macro models 4 and 6 to explore the potential pathways through which parental career support may influence students' occupational engagement. The findings reveal that both major satisfaction and career adaptability serve as significant partial mediators individually (Model 4) and in tandem (Model 6) in the relationship between parental career support and occupational engagement. Furthermore, bootstrapping analysis highlights the indirect effects, showcasing the greater influence of major satisfaction when compared to career adaptability. These findings underscore the importance of incorporating parental career support, major satisfaction, and career adaptability into career education and guidance programs to enhance college students' occupational engagement.
