This study was to investigate what art therapists experience in group art therapy and what their experiences mean. For the purpose of identifying the nature of experiences of group art therapy, four art therapists who majored in art therapy and have participated in group art therapy for about 10 years were purposively sampled, and the qualitative research method was the narrative inquiry. From August 2019 to November 2019, four art therapists held 2-session group interviews and had personal meetings with a telephone call and an e-mail from the researcher, and art work and writing were performed by the therapists. The group therapy of art therapists in the process of inquiry is a process of constant training on the integrity of “art therapist” and “I”, a process of trusting the media and the power of image and loving people, and the process of having the courage to separate the boundaries of their love. This inquiry was a process aimed to recreate the experiences and courage of the art therapists clients.
