This study was aimed to examine recent trends in domestic art therapy for Individuals with cerebral palsy. Art therapy reserch studies based on Individuals with cerebral palsy published in South Korea from 2000 to 2017. A total of 49 papers were analyzed based on subjects of study(the number of subjects, age, sex, research environment), study contents(technique type, study theme), and methods of study(research type, research area, research plan, measurement method, therapy session). The results were as follows, First, the number of studies has been continuously decreased since 2011. Second, as for subjects of study, many included two to five people, targeting children and both sexes, and were conducted outside of hospitals and schools. Third, as for study contents, art therapy and music therapy accounted for a high proportion of study contents, and many studies focused on the field of physical function. Fourth, as for study methods, integrated studies and studies including individual and single-group therapy were the most common. In addition, quantitative analysis tools were mainly used, and many studies used two or four measurement tools and compared the mesures before and after the research. Finally one to three sessions per week, 40 to 60 minutes per session, were the most common, mostly with structured programs. Based on the above results, we provided useful basic data for the study of art therapy for Individuals with cerebral palsy.
