This study was a narrative inquiry about an art therapist’s self-healing to address COVID-19-related depression. The self-healing was conducted from May 2021 to August 2021 via 14 artwork sessions, with the goal divided into “psychological symptom exploration,” “self-exploration,” “creative and self-integration,” and “prayer.” Data collected through art therapy included research journals, photographs, documents, artwork, and so on. The four themes from the text of the sessions were “identity confusion and isolation during COVID-19,” “observation of my emotions,” “attempts to gain freedom,” and “rebirth.” From the results, the following nine implications were derived: which were “my mind confusion,” “the unconscious desire,” “the gift of nature,” “confusion and emotion storm,” “the signal of the inner world,” “the Journey in the past,” “meeting with the inner,” “the inner echo,” and “a reborn path of life.” This investigation process revealed that art work created a process of awakening the necessity and meaning of self-healing during COVID-19 pandemic isolation and fueled the power to live.
