This research explored the effect of REBT-based art therapy on rational and emotive behavior for women who suffered panic symptoms. The subjects of this study were women who were unable to go outside and socialize voluntarily due to panic symptoms. After conducting a pre-test and REBT-based art therapy orientation, from February to May 2022, 11 art therapy sessions and post-tests were conducted once a week for 60 minutes. Data analysis and harvest counseling were executed on June 3rd. The study applied IBT(Irrational Beliefs Test) and HTP(House-Tree-Person Test), and the pre-test and post-test were conducted and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, REBT-based art therapy relieved panic symptoms. Second, there was a significant change in rational thinking and emotion during the IBT and the HTP test. Third, it allowed participants to freely go outside daily and live a voluntary social life. Therefore, REBT-based art therapy allowed women who experienced panic symptoms to think rationally thinking. In result, panic symptoms could be relieved and stably accessed to social activities oneself. Based on these studies, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
