This study aims to explore the implications of the experience of elementary school teachers who participated in learning community. To this end, researchers collected data through three in-depth interviews with 11 teachers working at elementary schools in Seoul from October 2019 to February 2020, and grounded theory presented by Strauss and Corbin. As a result, 126 concepts, 39 subcategories, and 14 categories were drawn in open coating, and the educational ideal built within me was derived as a key category. Teachers experience in participating in learning community through this study can be said to be a process of self-innovating as well as practical purposes such as strengthening professionalism and improving teaching skills. Based on this, this study discussed the reflection and cooperation that elementary school teachers experienced in participating in the learning community, the sense of calling as teachers, vocational identity, learning experience and the virtuous cycle of education. Furthermore, practical implications for the activation and quality improvement of the learning community of elementary school teachers were presented.
