This research confirms the importance of the principal of the Innovation School. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between innovation schools and the Professional Learning Community(PLC), and to confirm whether the Professional Learning Communities of innovation schools vary according to the leadership of the principal. For analysis, the 5th year data of 「Busan Education Longitudinal Study (BELS)」 of the Education Policy Research Institute of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education was used. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Innovation School and the principal's leadership had a significant effect on the teacher learning community, and the interaction effect of the two variables was also confirmed. This result did not change even assuming that other teacher- and school-level factors influencing the teacher-learning community were the same. Therefore, it can be confirmed through this study that the school's teacher-learning community is operated more faithfully if it is an innovation school and the principal's leadership is high. The results of this study, empirically showing that the operation of a teacher-learning community in a school depends on the leadership of the innovative school principal, can be said to show the performance of the innovation school and at the same time prove the importance of the principal's leadership.
