본 연구는 중년여성을 대상으로 한 국내 음악 중재연구의 문헌분석을 통해 중재연구의 특성을 살펴보고 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2002년부터 2019년까지 발표된 학위논문 17편과 학술지 논문 6편, 총 23편을 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 중년여성 대상 음악 중재연구는 양적 연구방법으로 수행된 것이 다수 발표되었으며 참여 대상은 진 단명을 가지지 않은 일반 참여자의 비중이 높았고 개별보다는 집단 형태의 중재가 많았다. 둘째, 중재 목표는 심리적 영역이 사회적, 신체․생리적 영역에 비해 높은 빈도를 나타냈으 며 특히 우울 감소를 목표로 한 음악 중재연구가 많았다. 셋째, 중재 방법은 감상, 노래, 악 기연주가 유사한 빈도를 보였으며 음악 활동이 통합적으로 시행된 연구가 많은 것으로 확 인되었다. 이는 중년여성을 대상으로 한 음악 중재연구의 특성을 분석함으로써 해당 분야 후속연구의 방향을 제안한다는 의의를 갖는다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the intervention study and to suggest the direction for further researches by reviewing domestic music intervention studies on middle-aged women. For this, literature review was conducted on a total of 23 researches, which are 17 theses and 6 journal articles published from 2002 to 2019. From the results, we found that active publications with quantitative research methods were performed, most of the participants were normal persons without diagnoses, and in terms of therapeutic settings, group activities were more frequent than individual ones. Secondly, with respect to the intervention goal, researches frequently focussed on psychological intervention more than the social or physiological ones, and there were higher number of researches conducted on relieving symptoms of depression. Thirdly, with regard to intervention types, researches on the musical activities such as listening, singing, and performing showed similar scores, and those of integral activities were more frequent. It could be meaningful that this study suggested the direction of further studies by investigating the characteristics of intervention studies on middle-aged women.
