본 연구의 목적은 베트남 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스 정도에 따른 ‘빗속의 사람(PITR)’ 그림검사 반응 특성을 분석하여 빗속의 사람 그림검사가 베트남 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스를 평가하는 심리평가 도구로서의 활용가능성을 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 경기지역 A대학교의 베트남 유학생 206명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 측정도구는 문화적응 스트레스 척도와 PITR그림검사이다. 자료 분석을 위해 문화적응 스트레스 점수의 상, 하위 집단을 빈도와 백분율로 나타내었고, 문화적응 스트레스 점수의 상, 하위 집단과 PITR그림검사의 스트레스와 대처자원 항목에서 반응특성이 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 베트남 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스 정도에 따른 PITR그림검사의 스트레스 영역의 반응특성에서는 비의 모양, 비와 구름의 접촉, 번개의 수, 웅덩이의 면적 항목에서 문화적응 스트레스 상, 하위 집단 수준에 따른 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 베트남 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스 정도에 따른 PITR그림검사의 대처자원 영역의 반응특성에서는 간접 보호물의 적절성과 얼굴모습 항목에서 문화적응 스트레스 상, 하위 집단 수준에 따른 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 결론적으로 PITR그림검사는 베트남 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스 정도를 파악할 수 있는 도구로서의 활용 가능성을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the response characteristics of Person in the rain (PITR) drawing test based on the acculturative stress of Vietnamese international students, to find out the applicability of the PITR drawing test as a psychological assessment tool in assessing the cultural adaptation stress of Vietnamese international students. For this purpose, 206 Vietnamese international students from A university in Gyeonggi province were surveyed, using acculturative stress scale and PITR drawing test as measurement tools. For data analysis, the upper and lower groups of acculturative stress score were presented as frequency and percentages, and t-test was conducted to see if there are differences in response characteristics in the stress and coping resource category of the PITR drawing test. The results of the study are as follows. First, the response characteristics of the stress area of the PITR drawing test based on the acculturative stress of Vietnamese international students, showed significant differences in the shape of rain, the contact between the rain and clouds, the number of lightning, and the area of puddles categories between the upper and lower groups of acculturative stress. Second, the response characteristics of the coping resource area of the PITR drawing test based on the degree of acculturative stress on Vietnamese international students showed significant differences in the appropriateness of indirect protective materials and facial feature categories between the upper and lower groups of acculturative stress. In conclusion, the study suggests the applicability of the PITR drawing test as a tool to identify the degree of acculturative stress of Vietnamese international students.
