Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the anti-aging program on physical function,
cognitive function and quality of life in community dwelling elders. Methods: The research was designed as a one
single pre-post group. The participants were 144 elders. The anti-aging program was developed by the
investigators. The intervention was conducted 3 times a week for 12 weeks. Data were analyzed using descriptive
statistics and paired t-test. Results: After participation in the program the physical function, cognitive function and
quality of life of the elders improved significantly. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the anti-aging program
was effective in enhancing physical function, cognitive function and quality of life for community-dwelling elders,
and could be considered as a positive program for physical and cognitive support for elders.
