When a biography (character story) is used in reading education it puts major effort on learner-centered activities rather than teacher-centered pedagogics. In that way learners would be more interested in reading lessons and they would actively participate in the class which would elevate the effectiveness of the education. Firstly, the characteristics of a biography are based on historical facts. Secondly, it gives moral instruction by realistically describing the characters' achievements. Third, it contains literary value. I specifically observed the three characteristics of a biography and analyzed its educational effects based on these specificities. Biographies give the learners the concept of a mentor. Moreover, through the character, learners can be aware of the right history. There's also the joy of reading because a biography contains literary elements just like a novel. In order to double the educational effectiveness of a biography. I tried to compose the teaching methods that learners can use to lead their classes. The learner-centered lesson which became influential in the 7th educational system lets as many learners as possible participate in class to make it more unrestrained and interesting. Examples of learner-centered biography lessons include cooperative learning lessons, making questions, book publishing plays, predictions, What ifs, comparisons and writing a biography focused on the surrounding people. This monograph introduced theoretical concepts, actual examples of lessons, and various methods of activities. In addition, it's necessary to creatively devise more methods of activities in reading lessons.
