This study was a case study of sandtray therapy who had poor adaptability to school life. The child lived with his grandmother, father and four siblings because of the divorce of his parents, and usually has no big trouble at home, but he teased his friends and has some kleptomania at school. In order to help this child adapt to school well, I commissioned to the Dream Start Youth Support Project in oo county and have performed sandtray therapy. A total of 18 sessions of treatment were held once a week from April to August, 2017. To verify the therapeutic effect, the school adaptive test, HTP, KFD, SCT were performed pre-post test. The process of sandtray therapy was divided into early, middle, and late stages and described the process of change based on these divisions. As the result, the sandtray therapy in the early stage paradoxically expressed an unstable family environment but as entered middle of the therapy it expressed his hopes as the story progressed under the theme of family trip. And finally he completed his love by building happy village with all the neighborhoods. As a result, sandtray therapy of this children resulted in a disappearance of the kleptomania along with emotional stability and increased his adaptation to school life.
