본 연구는 유아 창의성 교육에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식이 어떠하고, 유치원 현장에서 이루어지는 유아 창의성 교육의 지도 실태는 어떠한지를 살펴봄으로써 유치원 현장에서 유아 창의성 교육의 활성화를 위한 기초 자료를 얻는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 공 립 및 사립 유치원에 재직 중인 유치원 교사 238명을 연구대상으로 유치원 교사와 전문 가 협의를 통해 만들어진 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 기술통계를 사용하여 평균과 표준편차를 알아보았고, 빈도 분석을 하였다. 유아 창의성 교육에 대한 인식 및 지도 실태에 대한 연구 결과를 근거로 유아 창의성 교육에 대한 지식과 이해를 확장할 수 있는 연수 기회가 매우 필요함을 논의하였다.
By looking at teachers' awareness and reality of creativity education in early childhood education field, the purpose of this study is to provide the database that can be invigorate creativity education for children by diagnosing and reflecting creativity education for young children. The subjects of this study were 238 teachers who are working for kindergarten where are located in Gyeonggi-do Province. Based on the data collected, it was concluded that a systematic program is needed for teachers to improve and expand their knowledge, understanding of creativity, and the ability to utilize the knowledge and the understanding at the field.
