There are two-fold purposes of this article. One is to find new viewpoints and roles of corporate training and learning in the knowledge-based society. Another is to integrate knowledge management and human performance technology and identify to contribute each other. Major concepts including intellectual capital, learning organization, organizational learning, knowledge management, human performance technology, and electronic performance support system are discussed. The epistemology in knowledge management and human performance technology is also compared and discussed. Linkage between knowledge management and human performance technology or electronic performance support system is shown in the back part of this article.
