In this study, a research was held on verifying the mediated moderating effect for job satisfaction through
social support in the relation of job stress and life satisfaction. In this study, the data from the 1st(2008)
to 3rd(2010) ‘Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled’ conducted by ‘Korea Employment Agency
for the Disabled’ is used. The panel participants are 662 persons who have been employed for 3` years
from the year 2008. To accomplish this, job stress, social support, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction were
measured. The results were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 and SPSS Macro. A summary of the results of this
study is as follows. Firstly, the result of the mediated effect analysis with using the regression analysis
shows that job stress has impacts on life satisfaction through job satisfaction. Secondly, the result of verifying
the control effect through the hierarchical regression analysis shows that job stress and social support are
interacted to give an effect on job satisfaction. Thirdly, the result of verifying the mediated moderating
effect using SPSS Macro shows that the mediated moderating effect is existed as the mediated effect of
job satisfaction on the effect of job stress on life satisfaction has increased by interaction of job stress
and social support. Based on this study, several implications and limitations are proposed for the welfare
of the disabled.
