본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 주관적 안녕감에 따른 좋아하는 날씨(FKW)그림 반응특 성을 알아봄으로써 FKW그림이 주관적 안녕감을 진단하는 도구로서 가능한지를 알아보고 자 한다. 이를 위해 경북의 K시에 소재하는 초등학생 1-6학년 1,088명을 대상으로 주관적 안녕감 질문지와 FKW그림 검사를 실시하였다. 자료를 분석하기 위해 t-검증, 교차분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생의 주관적 안녕감은 보통 수준이 며, 정서 안녕감과 관계 안녕감이 효능 안녕감보다 조금 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 주관적 안녕감에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타낸 변인은 관계 안녕감으로, 여학생이 남학생보다 관계 안녕감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 FKW그림 반응특성 에서 형식요인의 채색 에너지, 채색 안정성, 색사용수, 공간사용, 세부묘사와 내용요인의 먹구름 유무, 구름유무, 번개 유무, 눈 유무가 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 넷째, 주관적 안녕감에 따른 FKW그림 반응특성에서 형식요인의 채색 정도, 색사용수, 공간사용, 세부묘사가 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다.
This study investigated the correlation between elementary school students' subjective well-being and their FKW drawings. The participants were 1,088 elementary school students ranging from 1st to 6th grade in Gyeongbuk province. They were asked to answer a questionnaire measuring subjective well-being and the FKW drawing test. Data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0. A t-test was conducted to measure the gender difference in the participants' subjective well-being. A crosstab analysis was conducted to measure the gender difference in their FKW drawings. A correlation analysis was conducted to measure the correlation between the participants' subjective well-being and the characteristics of their FKW drawings. First, it was found that the participants’ subjective well-being was on an average level. Their emotional well-being and relationship well-being was slightly higher than their efficacy well-being. Second, as to gender differences in the subjective well-being, female participants' relationship well-being was significantly higher than male participants' relationship well-being. Third, as to gender differences in the characteristics of the FKW drawings, significant differences were found in 5 formal factors(coloring energy, coloring stability, the number of used colors, spatial use, detail description) and 4 substantive factors(existence of dark clouds, existence of clouds, existence of lightning, and existence of snow). Fourth, significant differences were found between subjective well-being and the following formal factors(degree of coloring, the number of used colors, spatial use, detail description) in the FKW drawings.
