Physical education is a valuable activity, but it isn’t easy for students to experience its value from the aspects
of education. In particular, There are greater possibilities in elementary physical education class. Here to
various methodological approaches has been attempted in the field of elementary physical education, in recent
years, the strategic approach to teach has been tried. Meanwhile kickball is preferred in physical education
class, but with structural problems, students’ experience of meaning is not being made and interest in the
area of research is not large. Therefore the purpose of this study was to design and practice kickball class
that can implement the meaning of field type game activities, through this, tried to find the way to improve
students’ meaningful experiences in kickball class. As a result, educational effects including physical activity
promotion, promotion of tactical thinking, positive emotional experiences were shown, and based on this, this
paper suggested methodological alternatives of elementary physical education class from the perspective of
reflective teaching and proposed future research topics.
