The aim of the study was to prove the effects on work stress of the child-care belief
and efficiency of the teachers under the handicapped-kids-integrated-education. The
subjects were 175 teachers who take care of at least one handicapped child in child-care
facilities, located in K city and J prefecture. According to the research, 4 facts were
noticed. First, The higher the age, educational level, and the career the teacher has, the
more positive impact on teacher's educational belief and efficiency was shown.
Furthermore, the married teacher had more positive impact on it over the unmarried
one. Second, the modern child-care belief exhibited the positive correlation with the
child-care efficiency. Third, the teachers of adult-oriented traditional educational belief
had more overwork stress than the teachers of modern educational belief. The
educational efficiency had negative correlation with overwork stress and
parents-relationship stress. Finally, the child-care efficiency and the belief of the teachers
under the handicapped-kids-integrated education proved to have influence on teachers'
work stress.
