Grandparents are taking care of their grandchildren increasingly as more women choose to pursue their career after giving birth. Being a grandparent is one of the most important stages of life, but being a caregiver takes sacrifices and often causes trouble with their daughters and sons. The study offers some ideas for developing educational programs for grandparent caregivers. With proper support from society and community, the educational program can contribute to enhancing trust between grandparent caregivers and their grandchildren as well as reducing their stress and nurturing and maintaining family relationships.
