This study has composed the experimental group of 17 male and female middle school students and the control group of 17 male and female middle school students in the city of P, Gyeongsangbuk-do, in order to investigate the effects of the loving kindness meditation program on the impulsiveness, anxiety, and stress in adolescents. fu order to execute this study, the loving kindness meditation program was conducted for 60 minutes each week for a total of 13 weeks, treated with meditations of 5 minutes as the daily self program, and the control group was not treated with any programs. The conclusions obtained through this study are as follows. First: The loving kindness meditation program displayed positive effect by decreasing impulsiveness in the experimental group in comparison to the control group. Second: The loving kindness meditation program displayed significant effect by deceasing the state of anxiety in the experimental group in comparison to the control group. Third: The sub-sections of the effects of the loving kindness meditation program on stress in adolescents are as shown below. The experimental group did not show positive change in the decrease of perceived stress in comparison to the control group, concerning school life. The experimental group showed positive change in the decrease of perceived stress in comparison to the control group, concerning personal relationships. The experimental group was seen to show positive change in the decrease of perceived stress in comparison to the control group, concerning personal problems. The experimental group did not show significant difference in the decrease of perceived stress in comparison to the control group, concerning environmental problems. The experimental group statistically showed significant effect by remarkably decreasing perceived stress in comparison to the control group, concerning home life. Combining these study conclusions, the loving kindness meditation program displayed to give positive effects in relieving impulsiveness, releasing anxiety, and decreasing stress in adolescents.
