The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between university student'
emotional reliance, conflict coping style, and dating relationship satisfaction. The subjects were
528 university students and all respondents answered by self-report questionnaire. Data were
analyzed using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance(ANOVA), and zero-order correlation
analyses. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant
differences in relationship satisfaction by gender and emotional reliance. Second, there were an
interaction effect by gender and conflict coping style on the relationship satisfaction. Third, there
were significant correlations between university student' emotional reliance, conflict coping
style, and dating relationship satisfaction.
