본 연구의 목적은 유아를 대상으로 하는 인권교육에 대한 예비유아교사들의 인식을 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상은 J시 H 대학 유아교육과 1, 2, 3학년에 재학 중인 대학생 201명이다. 이를 위해서 사용한 연구 방법은 설문지 조사방법이고, 설문지는 4개의 영 역으로 구성하였다. 예비 유아교사 인식 조사용설문지를 예비교사들에게 배부하여 회수 한 후 문항별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하고 관련 변인에 따라 차이가 있는지 검증하였다. 그 결과 예비유아교사들은 유아인권의 중요성에 대해 높게 인식하고 있었고, 인권교육 내용으로 공동체 함양 의식이 가장 필요하다고 응답하였다. 또한 유아인권교육의 바람 직한 방향을 위해 교사의 인권의식 변화와 프로그램 개발에 대한 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to see the perception of the would-be young child teacher's of human rights education for young children. The Subjects in this study were 201 of the college students(1st grade-67, 2st grade-70, 3st grade-64) specializing in early childhood education at H college located in Jeju-Do. The questionnaire for the perception of the college students specializing in early childhood education of human rights education for young children was constructed on that of Previous researchers(Ju, 2005; Jo, 2002; KICE & Korean National Commission for UNESCO, 2000). The questionnaire consisted of four categories. The results in this study were as follows. First the would-be young child teachers thought child's human rights was very important. Second, they thought that inappropriate circumstances of early childhood education centers violates child's human rights. Third, they thought aims of human rights education for young children. is to learn community senses. Forth, for vitalizing operation of human rights education for young children. they thought that teacher's drastic switch in human rights education for young children is necessary.
