영문초록

The term “Empathy” comes from the German term “Einfuhling”, meaning “feeling into” (Stanford Encyclopaedia of Philosophy). When we say, “put yourself into the other person’s shoes”, we expect one to show empathy. The theme of this symposium is to explore how we can empower children’s empathy through early education. Before discussing children’s empathy, I would like to set out a framework in which “Empathy” is conceptualized and structured in this talk.
