The purpose of present study was to investigate the effectiveness of
Cooperation-centered Group Art Therapy on sociality of the children in single-father
home. Participants were twelve 2nd-4th grade children in single-father home who
are involved local children’s welfare canter in Kyung-gi province. The program
was proceeded with the total of fourteen, 60 minute session twice a week at
local children’s welfare center after creating an appropriate program by
conducting a pilot study during 7 weeks. In addition, pre- and post- test of
sociality and KSD(Kinetic School Drawing) to understand the effectiveness of
treatment between experiment and control groups and the data were analyzed
by Mann-Whitney U. The result of this study presented that Group Art
Therapy Program to the cooperation for the participant of this research, firstly,
Group Art Therapy Program to the cooperation affected on the improvement of
the sociality of the children of single-father home. Secondly, Group Art
Therapy Program to the cooperation presented positive effect of improvement
of sociality of single-father home in KSD result. In result, Group Art
Therapy Programs to the cooperation promise to utilize for prevention and
treatment of children in single-father home by developing their sociality.
