본 연구는 한국 대학생을 대상으로 한국판 행복추구경향 척도를 타당화하기 위해 수행되었다. 서울시 소재 5개 대학교 학생 412명을 대상으로 하였다. 질문지법을 이용해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 이용해 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국판 행복추구경향 척도는 타당도가 확보된 것으로 나타났다. 구성타당도를 알아보기 위해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 즐거움추구경향 6문항, 의미추구경향 6문항, 몰입추구경향 4문항, 총 16문항으로 나타났다. 한국판 행복추구경향 3요인 모형의 타당성을 알아보기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 모형적합도 지수가 모두 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 행복추구경향과 심리적 안녕감과의 상관을 분석한 결과 비교적 높은 관련성이 나타나, 한국판 행복추구경향 척도가 적절한 준거타당도를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 한국판 행복추구경향 척도는 신뢰도가 확보된 것으로 나타났다. 내적 일치도, 반분 신뢰도, 문항-총점간 상관이 비교적 높게 나타나 바람직한 수준임이 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 한국판 행복추구경향 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 확인함으로써 향후 행복 관련 연구에 기초 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to validate the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire(OHQ) for college students. The participants in this study were 412 college students in Seoul. Data was analyzed using exploratory factor analyses, confirmatory factor analyses, Pearson’s correlations, split-half reliability and item-total correlations. The results were as follows: 1) The construct validity of the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire was supported by exploratory factor analyses and confirmatory factor analyses. There were 3 sub-factors of 16 items in the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire: life of pleasure, life of meaning and life of engagement. 2) The criterion validity of the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire was supported by correlation analysis with psychological well-being. 3) The reliability of the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire indicated appropriate internal consistency, split-half reliability coefficient and item-total correlations. Theses results support both the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Orientations to Happiness Questionnaire.
