This study is an effort to interprete the meaning of the rock & ice climbing experience in the mountain and its educational implication. In order to do this purpose, a number of books that were written by many climbers were reinterpreted in this study. The climbers I studied spent their whole life climbing with great concentration. Few climbers expected any of their climbing to make them rich or famous. None of the extrinsic rewards that usually motivate behavior seemed to be present. So what accounted for the deep fascination that climbing had for the climbers? It was obvious that the activity of climbing produced its own autonomous positive rewards. Therefore, the most important thing that was found in their climbing was the quality of subjective experience that made a behavior intrinsically rewarding. Such climbing experience as a model of flow experience opens up a new perspective on some of meaningful aspects of educational experience. As a result, the most important emphasis is this. Rock & ice climbing experience was able to be explained as a kind of the educational experience that provided intrinsic rewards. education is an activity of subjective experience that was based on a behavior intrinsically rewarding. Therefore It is obvious that educators spend their whole life in teaching with a great constration. For there are the awareness of self-recognition, self-fullness, feelings of enjoyment and creativity, intrinsic value of life and a continuous process of the \'autotelic(rewarding in and of itself)\' activity in the process of education. Finally, It is hoped that this study can be a start to deepen further studies in this field.
