Youth and students' indifferences of Korean unification due to unification education in schools.
Specifically, its causes can be examined in two aspects of operations and contents of curriculum. But it
will be, in this paper, studied of suggestions for ‘desirable understandings for reality of North Korea’ and
‘foreign policies for creating conditions of Korean unification’ with respect to the contents of curriculums.
For the purpose of it, this paper examined problems of unification education in schools and discussed
principal directions of curriculum reform in chapter Ⅱ. And this paper presented understandings for reality
of North Korea including issues of how its regime works and policies toward North Korea and China for
creating conditions of Korean unification in chapter Ⅲ. As such, this paper emphasized on relations with
North Korea and China because they are expected to become to emerged as key challenges in process of
Korean unification in future.
